The Sun:
One Thousand Years of Scientific Imagery

Cover design for a book charting the understanding of the Sun through a wide collection of historic and modern studies. The cover illustration is based on an engraving from 1757, also included in the book, and it is brilliantly foiled on a dark blue cloth bound cover to emphasise the eternal appeal of our solar system’s most astonishing star.

Published to accompany the special exhibition The Sun: Living with Our Star at the Science Museum, London, October 2018 – May 2019.
